GMC Acadia speaker upgrade
The Acadia carries the family, so its speakers work hard. Acadias from 2007 to 2016 and the 2017 Acadia Limited take 6.5 to 6.75-inch speakers in the front and rear doors. From the 2017 new body through 2023 the rear doors take 6.5 to 6.75-inch speakers, and the 2017 new body and 2020 to 2023 models take 6x9s in the front doors; the center dash and other years still need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 7 of 8 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2023: 6x9" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2020–2022: 6x9" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2019: 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
