Ford Ranger speaker upgrade
Ranger owners use their trucks for work and weekends. Older Rangers, through 2011, use 6x8 speakers, while 2019 and newer trucks move to 6.5 to 6.75-inch doors, and the newest years still need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 3 of 4 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

What size speakers fit the Ford Ranger?
It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2019–2023 (with 4.2-inch screen): 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2019–2023 (with 8-inch SYNC 3 screen): 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 1998–2011: 6x8" in the front doors, 6x8" in the rear doors, 6x8" in the rear side panels. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
