Dodge Durango speaker upgrade

The Durango is a big cabin to fill, and the door size changed by generation: 6.5-inch speakers through 2007, 6.75-inch on 2008 and 2009, and 6x9s in the front doors from 2011 on.   • 2014–2020 · with factory 4-inch screen (per Metra): If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-6559B TurboTactile (for the factory 4-inch screen) or Metra 99-6537B (single or double-DIN, with HVAC interface).
  • 2014–2020 · with factory 8-inch screen (8.4 Uconnect): If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-6560B TurboTactile (for the factory 8-inch screen) or Metra 99-6537B. Factory Harman Kardon premium sound can wire differently; we check your trim before you buy.
  • 2011–2013: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-6513B (double-DIN; Metra lists 2011-2013 Durango).
  • 2008–2009: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-6511 (double-DIN) / 99-6511 (single-DIN); Metra lists 2008-2009 Durango.

Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.

Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?

Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
