BMW 4 Series speaker upgrade
The 4 Series uses small speakers in the doors and dash, so the exact size matters. 4 Series coupes from 2014 to 2016 take 3.5-inch speakers in the front doors and center dash, and 2017 to 2020 models take a 3.5-inch center dash speaker; other spots and years need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 2 of 4 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2017–2020: 3.5" in the center dash; 2014–2016: 3.5" in the front doors, 3.5" in the center dash. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
