What we collect when you use our websites, why, who else handles it, and how to ask us to see or delete it.
Who we are
Audio MotorSports is a car audio, window tint and car security shop at 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, Carson, CA 90745. This policy covers www.audiomotorsports.com, lacartint.com, teslatintla.com, lacaralarm.com, lacarstereo.com, lacarbeats.com, amspods.com. The other domains forward to www.audiomotorsports.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in the contact, quote, estimate or hold forms, we get what you type: usually your name, phone number, email, your vehicle (year, make, model) and your message or choices (film, shade, product).
- Chat. What you type in the chat with Jessie, our website assistant.
- Calls, texts and email. If you call, text or email us, we see your number or address and what you send, like any business would.
- Stereo quote requests. If you send a car stereo request, we store it in our database: your name, how to reach you (phone or email), your vehicle, the job and your note, whether you agreed to be texted and the exact wording you agreed to with the time, and where you came from (for example an ad click ID, campaign tags and the page you came from).
- On your device only. The site remembers the vehicle you picked and your shop picks in your own browser (local storage) so you do not have to pick them again. That stays on your device. The simulators pass your choices to the contact form in the page address after the # sign, which browsers do not send to any server.
How we use it
- To answer you, quote your job, book your install and hold parts for you.
- To see which pages help people and fix the ones that do not.
- To stop spam and abuse of the forms and chat.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising on other sites.
Who else handles it
- Email and form services. Form messages reach our inbox through email and form-handling services (for example Resend, Gmail and FormSubmit).
- Database. Stereo quote requests are stored with our database provider (Neon).
- Chat. Chat messages are sent to an AI service (OpenAI or Anthropic) to write the reply. Please do not type card numbers or other sensitive details in the chat.
- Google. Google Maps (the map at the bottom of each page) follow Google's privacy policy.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.
- Payment plans. Snap Finance, Koalafi, EasyPay Finance and Synchrony take your application on their own sites, under their own privacy policies. We do not see or store your application.
- The law. If the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and quotes as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the right not to be treated differently for using them. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you agreed to receive texts from us, tell us to stop and we will. To ask, email audiomotorsports@gmail.com with the name and phone number you used. We may ask a question or two to make sure the request is yours.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
