Dodge Journey speaker upgrade
The Journey carries the family every day, so the speakers get a lot of use. Every Journey in our table takes 6x9 speakers in the front doors and 3.5-inch speakers in the dash; the rear doors are verified 6x9 on 2009 and 2010, and later years still need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 3 of 3 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

Dodge Journey speaker upgrade: questions
What size speakers fit the Dodge Journey?
It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2017–2020: 3.5" in the dash, 6x9" in the front doors; 2011–2015: 3.5" in the dash, 6x9" in the front doors; 2009–2010: 3.5" in the dash, 6x9" in the front doors, 6x9" in the rear doors. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
