Tesla Model S window tint in Los Angeles is the other sedan we price in public. Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach S cars come down Sepulveda; El Segundo is on that same corridor. Tesla window tinting Los Angeles for an S uses the published Solar Ceramic doors-and-back number for this sedan. Tesla ceramic tint Los Angeles on an S is still 3M IR Ceramic when the owner wants the heat film we recommend — Solar Ceramic plus $200 on the doors, $299 on the windshield.
How the install goes on an S
The S glass is long and curved. That is the whole job. You book 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Nick writes doors and back, two fronts, windshield, or both. We cut film on a glass board, then apply it. A plotter pattern is a database shape trimmed short so it clears the gasket. On an S that hairline shows fast because the glass is a long run. Micro edge sits to the gasket.
A doors-and-back S is a 2–3 hour install when the glass is clean. The windshield is its own line and its own time. Plaid owners book for heat, not for a dark cabin. Same-day is the normal doors-and-back book. Walk-ins before 4. Sunday closed.
The published doors number — unchanged
Solar Ceramic, four-door sedan, doors plus back glass: $399 installed. Not the windshield. Tesla windshield tint on Solar Ceramic is $189 separate. 3M IR Ceramic is Solar Ceramic plus a fixed extra — doors $599, windshield $299. Two front windows: Solar Ceramic $189. 3M IR Ceramic $249. Fronts stay California 70% VLT. Same numbers as the homepage.
Ceramic versus dyed
Beach-city S owners book because the cabin cooks on Sepulveda in August. Dyed film fades and does not carry the heat rejection people want. Ceramic is non-metal. 3M IR Ceramic is the heat film we recommend on a new S. Solar Ceramic is the published sedan number. We do not invent percents. We do not darken legal fronts to “match” the rears.
This shop used to run Llumar CTX on an S. That 2018 clip is still on the gallery. Real job. Real film name. Not what we sell as the Tesla package today. The current recommend is 3M IR Ceramic or Solar Ceramic. Same board. Same micro edge. Same Carson address.
What you see on collection
Nick walks the S with you. You look down the long glass from the rear quarter — that is where a short plotter edge shows. You sit up front. Legal 70% VLT fronts still cut glare without going dark. If we did the windshield, you look at that sheet from outside and from the driver’s seat. You do not leave until you have seen the gasket line.
Plaid heat and legal fronts
Plaid owners book this bay for heat, not for a black cabin. Legal fronts still do work. Ceramic on a 70% VLT front cuts glare on Sepulveda without going dark. Darker rears are the privacy line. We will not darken the fronts to “match” a 5% rear. That is not a shade conversation. That is the law.
Refresh S glass and older S glass are not the same cut. Bring the year. If you only want two fronts, Solar Ceramic is $189 and 3M IR Ceramic is $249. Windshield-only is $189 Solar Ceramic or $299 3M IR Ceramic. The gallery Plaid clip is heat and legal fronts from this bay. The 2018 CTX clip is an older shop job. Ask Nick which film you are actually buying before the S goes in.

The simulator above paints an S so you can see shade. That is a preview. Final shade and the published Solar Ceramic and 3M IR Ceramic numbers are confirmed at the shop. Do not treat a phone screenshot as the job.
