Tesla Model 3 window tint is the sedan this bay cuts every week. Torrance and Gardena 3s come down Avalon. West Carson cars are already next door. You are on Tesla Tint LA — the shop is Audio MotorSports in Carson. Ask for Nick. We are a 3M Authorized Dealer. Film on a 3 is Solar Ceramic or 3M IR Ceramic, cut on a glass board, then applied. This page is tint only. We do not do Tesla stereo, a sub, or a sound system here. We do not sell PPF.
How the install goes on a 3
You book 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Nick takes the year and the shade at the counter before the 3 goes in the bay. Film is cut on a glass board, then walked to the glass you drove in. We do not cut on the car. Cutting on the customer’s glass scratches it and risks the defroster lines. The sheet is already the right shape when it hits your glass.
Doors first, then the back. The 3’s rear glass is curved. A plotter shop pulls a year-make-model pattern and trims it short so it clears the gasket. That shows as a hairline of light at the edge within a season. We cut the sheet so the micro edge sits right to the gasket.
A doors-and-back 3 is a 2–3 hour install when the glass is clean and we already have the film. Same-day is the normal book. Walk-ins before 4 if the bay has a hole. The windshield is its own line and its own time. Two fronts are a shorter job, and they are priced. Bring the year. Highland glass is not the same conversation as an older 3.
The glass, and the numbers
Solar Ceramic and 3M IR Ceramic are the two films we print on a Model 3. Every number below is installed.
Two front windows: Solar Ceramic $189. 3M IR Ceramic $249.
Doors plus back glass, no windshield: Solar Ceramic $369. 3M IR Ceramic $569. Four doors and the back glass. Not the windshield.
Windshield only: Solar Ceramic $189. 3M IR Ceramic $299. Add it to a doors-and-back job and it is still that same line, then added.
Full car with the windshield — doors, back glass, and the windshield together: Solar Ceramic $558. 3M IR Ceramic $868.
Use the simulator above to put shade on a 3. That is a preview. Final shade and the job are confirmed at the shop.
Ceramic versus dyed
Dyed film is cheap and it fades. It also comes in metal stacks that Tesla owners should not put over cameras and Autopilot. Ceramic is non-metal. That is why this shop leads with ceramic on a 3. 3M IR Ceramic is the heat film we recommend. Solar Ceramic is the published sedan number when you want the doors-and-back price we print. We do not invent an IR percent. We will walk you to a sample on the glass.
California 70% VLT fronts stay light. Front side windows must allow 70% of visible light. Darker rears are legal. We walk the shade in the shop, not from a screenshot. People who want the fronts as dark as the rears are asking us to break the law. We will not.
Heat is why people book ceramic in August on Avalon. A glass sedan on a Carson lot cooks from the sides and from above. A legal front still cuts heat when the film is ceramic. Dye will not do what people think it will do at 3 p.m. on that lot.
What you see on collection
When the 3 is ready, Nick walks you around it. You look at the gasket line from outside — that is the micro edge. You sit in the cabin and look out. If something is wrong, you say so before you leave. We do not send you home to “see how it looks in a week.”
People text a photo of someone else’s 3 and ask for that exact look. Shade does not travel that way. Nick walks you to a sample on the car or on a board. Simulator fronts start clear because California 70% VLT fronts start light. Rear glass can go as dark as you like. 70% on a front is no film if you want it that way. We write the shade before the 3 goes in the bay so collection is not a surprise.
Older 3 jobs from this shop used Llumar CTX and Air 80. Those clips stay on the gallery because the work is ours. The current recommend is 3M IR Ceramic or Solar Ceramic. We will not call CTX the Tesla package today.
10 AM or 12 PM
Appointments are 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM only. Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Sunday closed. A 10 o’clock book leaves the bay time to finish a doors-and-back 3 the same day. A noon book still leaves the same day when the glass is clean and the film is here. Walk-ins before 4 if Nick says the bay has a hole.
If you need a payment plan, say so at the counter. The Payment Plan page is on this site.

Bring the 3, the year if you are not sure, and the coverage said out loud — two fronts, doors and back, windshield, or full with the windshield. Nick writes it before the car goes in. Torrance, Gardena, and West Carson 3s use this bay. One shop. No page per city.
