Tesla window tint
The rear glass on a Model 3 or Model Y is one large curve, so the film is shrunk to it on the car rather than trimmed from a pattern. Side cameras stay uncovered and the defroster tabs are worked around, not over.

What Monterey Park drivers bring us
Ceramic window tint
Solar Ceramic rejects infrared heat, which matters for a car that sits outside all afternoon, and it never fades to purple.
Head unit installation
CarPlay and Android Auto added with the factory camera and wheel controls retained through the right interface, nothing drilled.
Car alarm installation and remote start installation
Viper and Compustar systems wired into factory circuits and hidden from the fuse box.
Dash camera installation
Hardwired with the cable behind the trim and parked recording.
You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Monterey Park job is finished. Everyone is welcome; we are an LGBTQ-friendly shop. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way Monterey Park traffic sends you.
Prices as of October 2026
Standard-vehicle window tint Solar $249, Solar Ceramic $329 installed. Viper 3108V + VSM550 package $699 installed. Compustar 932A remote start from $649. Tesla tint pricing depends on the model; ask at the shop. Payment plan available, ask Nick.

Questions
Monterey Park questions we hear
Will Tesla window tint affect the cameras or the sensors?
No. The side repeater cameras, the rear camera and the ultrasonic sensors are all kept clear of film, and the windshield gets nothing beyond the legal strip, so the forward cameras are untouched. We have done enough Teslas to know exactly where the film stops.
How long does Tesla tint take and can I wait?
A few hours for four doors and the rear glass; the roof is not filmed, so nothing adds to that. You can wait in the shop or drop it and we will call. Google 4.8 (659 reviews) and Yelp 4.7 (785 reviews), as of October 2026, is the reason most people are comfortable leaving the car.
Do you also do car alarm installation on a Tesla?
A Tesla has its own security built in, so most owners add a dash camera installation or GPS tracker installation rather than an alarm. For the other cars in a Monterey Park household, the Viper 3108V + VSM550 package is $699 installed as of October 2026 and Compustar remote start installation starts from $649.
