Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King. The AMS pods on the crash bar are manufactured here — Richard has been making them in-house since 2003 — and Hertz speakers, fairing amps, and lid work all happen in the same bay as the cars.

6.5 fairing kit for the batwing.

6.5 fairing kit for the shark nose.
Everything below happens at 22025 S Avalon Blvd. The pods are not ordered in from a catalog and the bike is not sent to a second shop — the person who quotes the build is in the building while it is being done.
Front crash-bar pods, sold as a pair, in chrome or gloss black. Cut, drilled, and finished on our own bench for the bike in the quote — not a universal bolt-on trimmed to fit.
Hertz is the primary speaker line on baggers, including the weather-rated NEO 6x9s. Chosen for a bike that lives outdoors, not adapted from a door panel.
On a Road Glide or Street Glide the power belongs inside the fairing, and doing it right means pulling the tank. Shops that skip the tank pull are putting the amp somewhere it does not belong.
No batwing, no shark nose, so the King gets its own plan for where the amp sits and how the run is routed. Tell us the year and we will tell you how it lays out.
Lid speakers when the bags are going to carry the mid-bass. Sealed properly, so the lid still shuts on a wet ride and the sound does not disappear at speed.
Speakers inverted so the connections sit at the bottom and out of standing water, carpeted spacers cut in-house, soldered quick-disconnects, Loctite on the hardware. Wash the bike, service the bike, without cutting a harness.
Yes, we upgrade the head unit and keep the bar controls doing what they did. Kenwood on the shelf, and the source has to be worth the speakers you just paid for.
Eight speakers, horn tweeters, multiple amps — the AMS Signature, Premium, and Elite builds. Booked as their own job, never squeezed between two cars.
We ship pods nationwide. Payment for a shipped set is arranged over the phone with Nick before it leaves the shop; in store it is card or cash.
Nothing about a pod comes off a shelf. The pair is made after the order goes in, for one bike, in the finish you picked — which is why the honest lead time is about three weeks and why we say so up front instead of after you have paid.
The published pod special. Pair only, chrome or gloss black, crash-bar bracket and screws included. Install is quoted on the bike. Call or text us with the year and model.
See the current specialsThe step up from a pair of pods to a system: pods, Hertz, an amp sized to it, and the wiring done the long way. Quoted on the bike — no package number, because a 2015 King and a CVO are not the same build.
The full send. Eight speakers, horn tweeters, lids, and the amplification to hold it together at freeway speed with a helmet on. Quote only, in person, with the bike in front of us.
The $649 starting price on a pair of AMS pods is the only published number on this page. Signature, Premium, and Elite are quoted on the bike, because the bags, the year, the fairing, and how loud you actually ride all change the work. A payment plan is available — how the payment plan works.
Riding in from out of the area, or shipping a set instead? Say so at the quote and we will schedule it around your day. Full builds are booked as a day of their own.
Hertz carries more of our bagger work than anything else, and the pods themselves are ours. These are the lines we stock and install — not a directory of everything that exists.
Weather-rated Hertz NEO 6x9s and the HDSLK-14 saddlebag kit, AudioControl PNW 6x9s, and the crash-bar brackets and screws that ship with every pair of pods. Solder, heat shrink, and Loctite instead of crimps and zip ties.
A real Audio MotorSports job, filmed in the Carson bay. Eight more below — the full set is on Gallery.
Harley-Davidson is the two-wheel side of the shop. The rest of the list is what the same crew does on four wheels the other six days.
AMS pods have been manufactured at this shop since 2003. Richard, who builds them, has been in the trade since 1998 — two different dates, and both of them are older than most bagger shops in the county.
Weather-rated Hertz speakers and amps meant to live outdoors, soldered connections, and hardware chosen for LA drizzle, Long Beach marine air, and Orange County heat. Not car audio bolted onto a bike.

Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King are the core, and Softail bagger audio is the same shop and the same build. We do not run a program for other bikes, so if you ride something else we will say so instead of guessing at it.
Yes. AMS pods are manufactured in-house at the Carson shop and have been since 2003 — Richard builds them, and he has been in the trade since 1998. Every pair is hand-built to order for one bike, sold as a pair in chrome or gloss black, with the crash-bar bracket and screws included. Plan on about three weeks.
It is how the whole system is wired so the bike can be lived with. Speakers go in inverted so the connections sit at the bottom and out of standing water, the spacers are carpeted in-house, and the connections are soldered into quick-disconnects instead of crimped. The bike can be washed and serviced later without anyone cutting the harness.
Nick quotes it on the bike. A pair of AMS pods is its own thing; a full bagger stereo with lids, amplification, and a head unit is quoted separately, because the AMS Signature, Premium, and Elite builds depend on the year, the bags, and how loud you actually ride. Call (310) 513-8800 or text us with the year and model. A payment plan is available.
Yes, we ship nationwide. Payment for a shipped set is arranged over the phone with Nick before it leaves the shop. In the shop it is card or cash.
Year, model, and how loud you ride. A pair of AMS pods starts at $649 — the rest of the build is quoted on your bike. Payment plan available.
