Two ceramics, one rack
We are set up on 3M: 3M IR Ceramic for the heat jobs, Solar Ceramic when you want the published Model 3 or Model S sedan number. Same hand-cut on a glass board. Same micro edge. The tinters already know how 3M lays on Tesla glass.
Older Tesla clips stay on the gallery because the work is ours. We will not rewrite those clips as the current Tesla package. Today the recommend is 3M IR Ceramic. New books are 3M IR Ceramic or Solar Ceramic from our rack.
How the install actually goes
Whichever ceramic we stock, the method does not change. Film is cut on a glass board, then applied. We do not cut on your glass. A plotter pattern from a library is a database shape trimmed short so it clears the gasket. That hairline is the plotter tell. A 3 or S doors-and-back is 2–3 hours. An X is falcon-wing time. You book 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Same-day when the morning slot is open.
Ceramic versus dyed
Bellflower and East Rancho Dominguez drivers, and Watts cars coming down Avalon, usually want the cabin cooler. That is a ceramic job, not a dyed job. Dyed film fades. Metal stacks can argue with Tesla cameras. Ceramic is non-metal. This shop’s ceramic is 3M. We do not invent IR percents.
