On a car with a factory color screen, a module adds CarPlay through the original display; on an older dash, a Pioneer or Kenwood head unit goes in with the proper kit and interface. Either way the camera and wheel controls stay.
Solar Ceramic film hand-cut on a glass board to keep the cabin cooler and the edges clean at the gasket.
Door speakers on the factory harness; amplifiers fused at the battery with gains set by meter.
Modules hidden from the fuse box, wiring blended into the factory loom.
Fuse-tapped, cable behind the trim, parked recording.
You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Pasadena job is finished. The shop is LGBTQ-friendly and everyone from Pasadena is welcome. The shop sits right off the 110 freeway, with easy access from the 405 and the 710 as well, so three freeways lead to it from Pasadena.

Questions
On most cars from the mid-2010s on, yes. A module feeds CarPlay or Android Auto to the original display and the factory radio, camera and settings stay. Where the factory screen is too old, a replacement head unit with a dash kit and interface harness keeps the same functions on a new screen.
Yes. Most current head units support wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wired factory system can be made wireless with an adapter. Wired still charges the phone, which some Pasadena commuters prefer. We set up whichever you want and pair your phone before the car leaves the bay.
