Tesla Model X window tint is its own job. Compton, Lynwood, South Gate, and Paramount Xs use this bay. Tesla window tint Los Angeles on an X is falcon-wing glass, a big back, and more time in the bay. Solar Ceramic doors plus back glass is $499 installed. We do not invent a second X package.
How the install goes on an X
Falcon wings are why a cheap plotter shop ducks this car. The doors do not behave like a 3. You book 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Nick writes the coverage — two fronts, doors and back, windshield, or the lines you want together. We hand-cut on a glass board and apply to the glass you drove in. We do not offer chrome-delete. We do not pull a library pattern and hope the wing matches.
An X takes more time than a sedan. Doors-and-back is not the 2–3 hour sedan book. The wings have to follow. The windshield, if you want it, is its own pass — one piece, clean. Two fronts are a shorter job, and they are priced. Same-day still happens when you book the morning slot and we already have the film. Walk-ins before 4 if Nick says the bay can take it. Sunday closed.
What is published
Solar Ceramic and 3M IR Ceramic are the two films we print on a Model X. Every number below is installed.
Two front windows: Solar Ceramic $269. 3M IR Ceramic $349.
Doors plus back glass, no windshield: Solar Ceramic $499. 3M IR Ceramic $699. Falcon-wing doors and the back glass. Not the windshield.
Windshield only: Solar Ceramic $399. 3M IR Ceramic $499. Add it to a doors-and-back job and it is still that same line, then added.
Fronts stay California 70% VLT. Those are the homepage numbers. We do not invent a second X package to look cheaper.
Ceramic versus dyed
An X cabin is a lot of glass. Dyed film will not keep that cabin where people want it in August. Ceramic is non-metal, which is why Tesla owners pick it over a dyed metal film around cameras and Autopilot. 3M IR Ceramic is what we recommend on a new X. Solar Ceramic is the published doors-and-back number. We do not invent IR percents or a price for a film this bay does not stock.
What you see on collection
Nick walks the X with the wings open and closed. You look at the gasket line on the falcon doors — that is the work. You look at the back. If we did the windshield, you look at that one piece from outside and from the driver’s seat. The gallery has an X windshield in two shades and an X windshield in one piece of 3M Ceramic. Those are this bay. You do not leave until you have seen the edges.
Wings, windshield, year
A 2018 X and a new X are not the same windshield conversation. The gallery has both — a 2018 full windshield and sides, and a later 3M Ceramic windshield in one piece. Bring the year. People send a phone photo of an X windshield and want a number before they say the year. Walk it in or put the year on the form. Nick will write it.
Two-shade windshields are a real ask on this car — fifty percent on the bottom, five percent in the visor band is one job we have cut. That is not the published $399 Solar Ceramic windshield. That is a conversation at the counter. Two front windows are priced: Solar Ceramic $269, 3M IR Ceramic $349. We do not chrome-delete an X. We tint glass.
The shop
Audio MotorSports, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, Carson, CA 90745. Ask for Nick. (310) 513-8800. 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. Mon–Sat 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Sunday closed. Compton, Lynwood, South Gate, and Paramount Xs come down Avalon. One bay. No page per city.
What to bring: the X, the year, and the coverage said out loud. Falcon-wing jobs go wrong when someone texts “full tint” and means two different cars. Nick writes two fronts, doors and back, windshield, extra glass — each line. Payment plan is at the counter if you want it. This page is the X glass.
The simulator above paints an X. Use it for shade. Use this page for the published Solar Ceramic and 3M IR Ceramic numbers — doors and back, windshield, two fronts. Final look is the walk-around when you collect the car. If a wing edge is short, say so before you leave. That is the whole point of collection on an X.
