Floating Screen

Floating-screen receivers put a big 9- to 11-inch display in front of the dash on a compact chassis, so a large screen can work even with a smaller radio opening. Will a floating screen block my vents or buttons?

It can in some vehicles. The screen sits in front of the dash, so it may cover vents, buttons or the hazard switch. Many floating models let you adjust height and tilt, and we check this when we confirm fit for your exact year, make, model and trim.

Do floating-screen radios fit a single-DIN dash?

Some do. The Sony XAV-AX8100 and XAV-AX8500 use a single-DIN chassis, and the Pioneer DMH-WC5700NEX has a modular chassis. Use the Shop by vehicle tool or call or text, and we confirm fit.

Can I hook up more than one camera?

Some can. The Stinger Horizon 10-inch and JVC KW-Z1001W list 4 camera inputs, handy for trucks, trailers or a front camera. Ask us which cameras pair with the unit you pick.

Can I check out on this page?
