Coaxial Speakers: questions
Will new coaxials sound better on my factory radio?
Usually, yes. Many coaxials are built to play well on modest factory power, so a swap can clean up the sound even without an amp. Adding an amp later lets them play louder with less strain.
Front, rear or both?
Start with the front doors, since that is where most of what you hear comes from. Rear speakers mainly fill in for passengers. Our speaker upgrade guides by vehicle show common sizes, and we confirm fit for your exact year, make, model and trim.
What do RMS and peak power mean?
RMS is the power a speaker handles continuously; peak is a short burst. Match RMS to your radio or amp.
