Hertz, sold and installed in Carson

  • Hertz authorized dealer
  • In-house technicians
  • In-house install, booked in

Hertz Neo is the motorcycle speaker we put in our own AMS pods. The magnet is small and light, so it takes less room in a tight saddlebag lid or fairing, and the cone is treated against water, humidity and sun. It stays clear when the volume is up, which is the point on a bagger at highway speed. Audio MotorSports is a Hertz authorized dealer, with car stereo since 1993 and the same owner since 1997.

Hertz SPL Show NEO

Weather-resistant Hertz coaxials made for motorcycles, in 6x9 and 6.5 inch

The SX690H is the 6x9 for saddlebag lids, with a dome tweeter and a super tweeter over the woofer and a metal-look grille in the box. The SX 165 NEO is the 6.5 inch coaxial. Both use a small neodymium magnet and motorcycle-style terminals.

  • Small neodymium magnet, so it takes less room in a tight Harley bag, lid or fairing
  • Cone treated against water, humidity and sun, made for a bike that lives outdoors
  • SX690H 6x9 adds a super tweeter and comes with a metal-look grille
  • Tweeters carry a resettable protection circuit that guards them when the volume is high
  • Double faston terminals match common motorcycle wiring and make a pair simple to connect

How we fit Hertz

The SPL Show NEO line is the part of Hertz made for powersports: 6.5 inch, 6x9 and 8 inch coaxials, 6.5 and 8 inch midranges, and bullet tweeters. We pair it with lid kits and front speakers for the Street Glide and Road Glide, and bagger audio is booked in. Text Nick the year and model, and he tells you what fits and when the bike will be ready.

Hertz questions

How long does a Hertz install on my Harley take?

Harley audio is booked in. Call or text Nick with the year and model, we set the day, you leave the bike, and Nick tells you when it is ready. A pair of front speakers is a smaller job than lids, because lids are cut, wired with a quick disconnect and fitted back on the bike.

Will Hertz Neo fit my Road Glide or Street Glide?

Most Glides, yes. The Neo 6.5 inch lid speakers suit 2014 and newer Street Glide and Road Glide, and the HD24H lid kit with the 6x9 SX690H is the set for 2024 and newer. Older bikes and other models vary, so text Nick the year and model and he tells you the exact part.

What comes with the Hertz lid set for 2024 and newer?

The set pairs the HD24H lid cutout kit and its harness with Hertz Neo 6x9 speakers. We fit and wire it in our bay, so you get the bike back with the lids on and nothing left to hook up.

Which Hertz Neo model is right for my bike?

Pick by the opening. The SX 165 NEO is the 6.5 inch coaxial, the SX690H is the 6x9 for lids, and the SX 200 NEO is the 8 inch. The SV 165 and SV 200 NEO are midranges with Harley-matching terminals and need a tweeter. Tell Nick the bike and how loud you ride.

Is there a payment plan for Hertz?

Yes. The speakers and the install can both go on a payment plan. Apply online through the Payment plan page, then bring the approval to the counter when you book the bike. The provider decides approval and terms and shows them before you accept.

Hertz Neo or Cicada on my bagger?

Inside an AMS pod the room is tight, so the pod gets Hertz Neo with its small magnet. On lids and in the fairing, where a bigger driver fits, Cicada is the upgrade. Both are in the shop and both are installed here, so tell Nick the bike and how loud you ride and he says which goes where.

Ready to put Hertz on your bike?

Call or text the shop with the year, make and model. We confirm the fit, hold the slot and get it in.
