Every piece of Tesla film is hand-cut on a glass board and then applied to the glass. Nothing is cut on your car. The rear glass has speakers, defroster lines and wiring right behind it, so the area is prepped and protected before film goes near it. The windshield comes off the board as well, cut for Tesla curvature rather than approximated, which is what stops a pattern being pulled into shape across the panel you look through.
