Every piece of Tesla film is hand-cut on a glass board and then applied to the glass. Nothing is cut on your car. The rear glass has speakers, defroster lines and wiring immediately behind it, so that area is prepped and protected before film comes near it. The windshield is cut the same way — Tesla windshield curvature is severe enough that a pattern not made for the panel ends up stretched across it, and stretched film distorts exactly where you are looking through it.
