Commerce has a few thousand residents and an enormous daytime workforce, which means most of the Teslas here belong to people who drive in, park for eight or nine hours and drive out. The Citadel lots are a sea of asphalt and the office parks off Washington are not much better. Washington and Atlantic themselves run wide and unshaded past the rail yards. For a car in this city the parked hours massively outnumber the driven ones, and that is the number the film decision should follow.
