Infinity is Harman's car speaker brand, and at the shop it means two lines. Reference is the simple swap for a tired factory speaker. Kappa is the upgrade line, with glass-fiber woofer cones, silk-dome tweeters and a tweeter level control on the component sets. The coaxials fit many factory openings, and the 683XF covers the cars that use a 6x8 opening.

6.5-inch Kappa component set with separate tweeters and a two-way or three-way crossover
The 603CF is the 6.5-inch Kappa component set for a car with an amplifier behind it. Each side gets a woofer, a separate silk-dome tweeter and a crossover, with room to add a midrange later.
- Rated 110 W RMS at 93 dB, built for an amplified front stage
- Separate silk-dome tweeters that mount flush, on the surface or on a starfish mount
- A 0 or minus 3 dB tweeter level control on the crossover to calm a bright car
- Crossover has two-way and three-way settings, so a Kappa midrange can be added later

How we fit Infinity
The Kappa coaxials and component sets here are rated at 93 dB or higher, so they play well from a receiver and open up with an amplifier. If you plan to add one, say so when you call, because it changes the wiring and the bay time. Everything is installed in our Carson bay by our own technicians, and most cars are done the same day once you call to hold the slot.

Infinity questions
How long does an Infinity speaker install take?
A pair of coaxials is often done the same day once you call to hold the slot. Component sets like the Kappa 603CF take longer because the tweeters and crossovers each need a spot, and an amplifier adds bay time. We set the plan and the pickup time when you call.
Will Infinity fit my car?
Infinity comes in 5.25, 6.5, 6x8 and 6x9 sizes. The Kappa 683XF covers factory 6x8 openings and many 5x7 spots, and ships with adapters. We check the opening and the depth before we order, so text the year, make and model and we tell you what fits.
What comes in the Kappa 603CF box?
Two woofers, two tweeters and two crossovers, with multi-hole adapter rings, foam gaskets and flush-mount, surface-mount and starfish tweeter mounts. Screws, speed clips and an Allen bit come with them. If your car needs a harness or a bracket, we include it in the quote.
Which Infinity should I get?
Tired factory speakers? The Reference REF-6532ix in 6.5 or the REF-9633ix in 6x9. A step up in the doors? The Kappa 63XF, the 683XF for 6x8 openings, or the 693M for a rear deck. Want separate tweeters? The Kappa 503CF in 5.25 or the 603CF in 6.5.
Can I add a midrange to a Kappa component set later?
Yes. The Kappa component crossovers have two-way and three-way settings, and the 203S has a 2-inch midrange while the 303S has a 3-inch one. We find a spot for it in the car, so the set can start as a two-way and grow.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. The speakers and the install can both go on a payment plan. Apply online through the Payment plan page, then bring the approval to the counter and we book the bay. The provider decides approval and terms and shows them before you accept.
