How we fit Acumen
A mirror cam is a bigger install than a stick-on dash cam. The mirror bracket is specific to your vehicle, the power runs through a hardwire kit for parking mode, and the rear camera cable goes through the headliner and trim to the back. Everything on this page is sold and installed in Carson, right off the 110. Call first to hold the slot and confirm the kit is on the shelf.

Acumen questions
How long does an Acumen mirror dash cam install take?
Plan on more bay time than a stick-on dash cam. We fit the bracket to your mirror, run power and the rear camera cable through the trim and headliner, and set the screen up with you. Many are done the same day once you call to hold the slot, and we confirm the kit is on the shelf first.
Will an Acumen mirror fit my car?
Acumen mirror brackets are vehicle-specific, so fit depends on your year, make and model. The Legend is made for cars, trucks, SUVs and UTVs. Text us the vehicle and we confirm the right bracket before you drive in.
What is the difference between the Legend 2CH, 3CH and 4CH?
The 2CH has a 4K front camera and a 2.5K rear camera. The 3CH has Full HD front and rear cameras plus a third, adjustable camera for the bumper or the cabin. The 4CH has left and right side cameras for the blind spots instead. All three use the same 12-inch waterproof mirror.
What are the Acumen Box and the Legend Panel?
The Acumen Box is an eight-switch power controller for aftermarket lights and accessories. The Legend Panel is a 4.3-inch touchscreen that controls it from the dash, and the Legend mirror can drive it too, including one-touch high and low beams. The Box and Panel are a separate add-on, not part of the mirror.
Does the Legend record while the car is parked?
Acumen lists a parking mode on the Legend. It needs a hardwire kit to stay powered with the engine off, and we run that during the install. Tell us how often the vehicle sits and we plan the wiring around it.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. The camera and the install can both go on a payment plan. Apply online through the Payment plan page, then bring the approval to the counter and we book the bay. The provider decides approval and terms and shows them before you accept.
