Slim under-seat powered 8 that adds bass to a factory system.
The Kicker Hideaway 51HS8 is a compact powered subwoofer with an 8-inch woofer and a 150-watt RMS amplifier in a box about 3-1/8 inches tall, 9-3/8 inches wide and 13-7/8 inches long. It fits under many seats and uses a quick-connect harness for power, signal and remote turn-on. Low-level and speaker-level inputs work with nearly any radio. It has a 50-120 Hz low-pass crossover, a 25 Hz subsonic filter, a phase switch, up to 6 dB of bass boost and an included remote bass control.
Pickup is at the Carson shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
Subwoofer installation in Carson
Same-day subwoofer installation
We install the Kicker Hideaway 51HS8 8-inch Compact Powered Subwoofer in our Carson bay, usually the same day: subwoofer installation with the wiring, the mounting and a test before you leave. Text us the year, make and model for an installation quote, or call.
Powered Car Subwoofers ComparedPick an under-seat sub like the Kicker Hideaway 51HS8 if you want bass without giving up any space, or the JBL BassPro Hub if your SUV or hatch has a spare tire it can hide in. Every one has the amp built in, so the install is simpler than a separate sub, box and amp.
Bring the year, make, and model. We check fit at 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A before anything goes in the car. Call to confirm this piece is on the shelf.
