AudioControl has been helping people make car audio sound right for more than 45 years. If you have heard of an Epicenter, an LC2i line output converter or a DM processor, this is the brand. Most cars are done the same day once you call to hold the slot, though a full multi-amp build with a processor takes longer and we set that plan when you call. AudioControl questions

How long does an AudioControl install take?

A line output converter or a bass restoration processor is usually a same-day job once you call to hold the slot. We tap the factory speaker wires or the radio outputs, mount the unit out of sight and set the level. The DM-810 and multi-amp builds take longer, since every channel is wired and tuned, and we confirm the plan when you call.

Which AudioControl adds an amp to a factory radio?

A line output converter. The LC2i takes the factory speaker signal and gives your amp a clean RCA signal. The LC2i PRO adds 9.5-volt outputs and a dash remote, and the LC7i handles six channels for factory systems with split speaker feeds. Text the year, make and model and we tell you which one your radio needs.

What do I need with the DM-810 processor?

It does not make power, so every speaker and sub it feeds needs an amplifier channel. It takes eight inputs, preamp or speaker level, so it works behind a factory or an aftermarket radio, and it is tuned with the DM companion app. We plan the amps, the wire and the mounting when you call.

Which AudioControl amplifier should I get?

The EPIC750 is the compact one for a sub or two, with a remote in the box. The A1500.1 is the premium sub amp, which makes 1,200 watts RMS into 2 ohms, with ParaBASS tuning and a Spike Mode that runs three 4-ohm subs. Tell us the subs you have and we match the amp.

What is the difference between Spike and Space subs?

Spike is the high-excursion line, in 8, 10 and 12 inch, and it pairs with ported boxes. Space is the shallow line, made to mount about 3.5 to 4 inches deep and built to resist weather, and it pairs with sealed wedge boxes. Both need an amplifier. Tell us how much room you have and we pick one.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. The amp, the processor and the install can both go on a payment plan. Apply online through the Payment plan page, then bring the approval to the counter and we book the bay. The provider decides approval and terms and shows them before you accept.
