DroneMobile is the app that turns a remote start into a phone remote. A small LTE module goes into the car, talks to a compatible Compustar remote start or alarm, and the app starts the car, locks and unlocks it and shows you where it is, from anywhere you have cell signal. We install the module here with the remote start, so the wiring is done once and tucked away, and you leave with the whole system working.

DroneMobile questions
How long does a DroneMobile install take?
The module goes in with a remote start, so it follows that install: most cars are done the same day once you call to hold the slot. The XT tracker needs no install at all. It is a battery unit that sticks on with magnets, and you can hardwire it to the car if you would rather not charge it.
Will DroneMobile work on my car?
It adds phone control to a compatible remote start or alarm, so the car needs one of those first, and Compustar is what we install. DroneMobile also has an online VIN check that shows which features your car supports. Text the year, make and model and we tell you which module and parts it needs.
Which DroneMobile module should I get?
Phone start, lock and locate on a Compustar remote start? The X1 MAX. Want GPS tracking and geofences, or a module that can also run alone as a tracker? The X2. Want break-in alerts from built-in sensors as well? The X2 MAX. Tracking a trailer or a toy with no install? The XT. We confirm what is on the shelf when you call.
What comes in the box with the X2 MAX?
The X2 MAX module, a data harness, a hardwire harness, an OBD harness and a 30-day Premium trial. We pick the harness that suits your car. For the control features the module needs a compatible remote start or alarm already in the car, or we add one at the same visit.
Does DroneMobile need a plan?
Yes. Phone control and GPS run on a DroneMobile plan billed by DroneMobile, and the X2, X2 MAX and XT start with a 30-day Premium trial. Basic covers vehicle control and security alerts, and GPS tracking starts at Premium. Your remotes keep working without the plan.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. The module and the install can both go on a payment plan. Apply online through the Payment plan page, then bring the approval to the counter and we book the bay. The provider decides approval and terms and shows them before you accept.
