What it is

Kicker's competition-grade square 12 with a field-replaceable recone kit.

The Kicker SoloX L7X 49L7X122 is a 12-inch square subwoofer built for extreme power, with dual 2-ohm voice coils and a recommended 1,000 to 2,000 watts RMS. It uses a 3-inch aluminum voice coil former, dual spiders, a double-pressed pulp cone, a triple-stacked ferrite magnet and a cast-aluminum basket with Forced Air Cooling. Kicker lists 20-100 Hz response, 1.25 inches of Xmax and a 10-1/8-inch mounting depth, with a recommended 3 cubic foot vented box tuned to 31 Hz. The cone, coil and spider can be swapped with a field-replaceable recone kit.
