What it is
Shallow Focal component set made to swap into factory locations.
The Focal ISU 165 is an Integration Series 6-1/2-inch 2-way component set built to replace factory speakers with little modification. It is rated for 70 watts RMS and 140 watts max at 4 ohms, with 93 dB sensitivity and 60 Hz to 21 kHz response. Polyglass woofers pair with aluminum/magnesium inverted-dome tweeters, and the shallow 1.9-inch depth fits many factory doors. High sensitivity means it sounds good even on a factory radio.
Pickup is at the Carson shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.

Guides and comparisons
- 6.5-Inch Car Speakers Compared: Coaxial vs Component from Kicker, Focal, Hertz and PioneerPick a coaxial pair like the Pioneer TS-G1620F, Kicker DS 43DSC6504 for a simple drop-in upgrade on a factory radio. Pick a high-sensitivity pair like the Focal ICU 165 or ISU 165 if you are keeping the factory radio and want more volume from it. Pick a component set like the Kicker KS 51KSS6504 when you can mount the tweeters up high and plan to add an amplifier.
- 6.5-Inch Component Speaker Sets Compared: 2-Way, 3-Way, Slim and Active from Focal, Kicker, Hertz and InfinityA component set splits the tweeter from the woofer so the highs can sit higher in the dash or pillar, which is why it usually sounds clearer than a coaxial. The table gives the specs each listing states, and the sections below explain the differences.
