What it is

The Directed interface module that lets a Viper remote start talk to the car.

The DB3 is a Directed data bus module used in Viper remote start and security installs. It is flashed with vehicle-specific firmware so the system can work with the car's own wiring network, handling tasks such as the immobilizer bypass, door locks and reading the car's status. It is an install part rather than a finished system, so it is quoted together with the Viper unit and the vehicle. We confirm which firmware and harness the car needs before the job is booked.
