What it is
Affordable Rockford Fosgate upgrade for factory 6.5-inch doors.
The Rockford Fosgate R165X3 is a Prime Series 6-1/2-inch 3-way coaxial car speaker pair. Each handles 45 watts RMS and 90 watts max at 4 ohms, with 91 dB sensitivity and 52-20,000 Hz response. It uses a vacuum polypropylene cone with rubber surround, stamped steel basket and silk dome pole-mounted piezo tweeter and midrange with 6 dB high-pass crossovers. Mounting depth is 2.15 inches; grilles included. An affordable factory-speaker upgrade for 6-1/2-inch doors in many vehicles.
