What it is
Efficient, budget-friendly Rockford 12 for sealed or ported boxes.
The Rockford Fosgate R2D4-12 is a 12-inch Prime R2 car subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils. It handles 250 watts RMS and 500 watts max, with 89 dB sensitivity (1W/1m), 5.067-inch mounting depth and an 11.25-inch cutout. It uses a mica-reinforced polypropylene cone, StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, anodized aluminum voice coil former and 12 AWG compression terminals. An efficient, budget-friendly 12 that works well in sealed or vented boxes.
